Here's how to make, save, and send your Sticky stickers.
- Open Sticky and tap Make a sticker. Choose Photo, Text, or Art.
- Style your sticker, then tap Save to stickers. The saved-sticker guide offers Try your sticker for a private keyboard test, or Open Messages.
- Open a Messages conversation, tap +, then Stickers, and choose Sticky. Find your sticker in Mine.
Sticker questions
How do I find Sticky in iMessage?
Install the main Sticky app first. Open the emoji keyboard, choose the Stickers drawer, then tap Sticky's icon. In Messages, open a conversation and tap +, then Stickers, then Sticky. Your saved stickers appear in Mine. If Sticky doesn't appear after installation, close and reopen the keyboard or Messages.
How do I peel a sticker onto a message?
In Sticky's Messages drawer, touch and hold a sticker, then drag it onto a message in the conversation. Tapping a sticker prepares it to send. iMessage behavior and available controls can vary by iOS version.
Can I make a sticker inside Messages?
Make and edit stickers in the main Sticky app. After saving, return to the keyboard's Stickers drawer and choose Sticky. The keyboard view focuses on using your saved stickers.
Why does my image still have its background?
A PNG file isn't always transparent. In the Photo editor, tap Remove background to try an on-device cutout. If the subject can't be identified, try a clearer photo or choose a circle or square boundary. Keep Transparent background on when exporting.
How do I frame a circle or square?
Select Circle or Square below the preview. Drag your image to reposition it and pinch or use the Zoom slider to change its size. Everything outside the selected boundary is hidden in the exported PNG. Reset restores the framing controls.
Where are my stickers saved?
Your library is stored on this device in storage shared by Sticky and its Messages extension. Your photos are not uploaded to Sticky servers. There is no account-based sync in version 1.0. Export important stickers as PNGs if you want a separate copy; deleting the app may remove its local library.
How do I export or delete a sticker?
After saving in the editor, tap Export PNG and choose where to save or share it. Touch and hold a custom sticker in your collection to find Delete sticker. Deleting a custom sticker removes its local copy; keep a PNG backup if needed.
Good Chaos purchases
Is Good Chaos a subscription?
No. Good Chaos is one optional, non-consumable sticker-set purchase. Its U.S. launch price is $1.99; Apple shows the price for your region before purchase. The set includes six original stickers. Making and sending your own stickers remains free.
I bought the set. How do I restore it?
Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. In Sticky, open Settings and tap Restore purchases, or use Restore purchases on the Good Chaos set page. An internet connection may be needed. Your purchased set will appear in your collection and in Messages once Apple confirms ownership.
My purchase is pending or unavailable.
Pending purchases may need approval, such as Ask to Buy. The stickers unlock when Apple confirms the transaction. If the set is unavailable, check your connection and try again later. If you're charged but the set remains locked, try Restore purchases, then contact us with the product name and an approximate purchase date. Please do not send payment-card details.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. Visit Apple's Report a Problem page to see available options for your purchase. A refunded or revoked purchase no longer unlocks the set.
